Booking paused until March 2023

The info below applies broadly to how I book clients but may be edited before my next booking round. Booking is currently closed; feel free to peruse the guidelines below, but please do not fill out a form at this time. Please check back later for up to date guidelines!
For this round, I am booking flash and one-off designs, viewable on my Instagram (see highlights). Flash is repeatable indefinitely, whereas one-off designs will only be tattooed once. Some smaller one-off designs will have a limited run of up to three repetitions.

I am not currently taking on fully custom work (i.e., you have a specific vision in mind for me to bring to life). I am however doing two types of semi-custom work:

Adaptations of public domain illustrations
These are adaptations of existing vintage illustrations, scientific or otherwise. I'm also open to certain vintage children's book illustrations, such as the work of Arnold Lobel (who created Frog and Toad), Beatrix Potter, and Maurice Sendak. For this option, please include a link where I can view the illustration you'd like adapted if possible. These can be adapted to your placement and budget needs. I've also compiled a collection of vintage illustrations I'm interested in adapting; you can peruse these in the Ideas highlight on my Instagram.

Drawn-on designs
I am also interested in doing freehand, drawn-on botanical designs. This is a collaborative process in which I draw a design directly onto your skin with medical grade pens. Drawing can take up to two hours and you will have many opportunities to contribute to the composition and make changes to it. This option requires a great deal of trust--the pens I use are not capable of a high level of detail, so you won't see the tattoo in its completed form until it's already done. I do my best to communicate clearly about my vision throughout the process so that there are no major surprises. For this option, please include what plant or other elements you'd like (organic things are best--leaves, bones, stones, shells, bugs, etc) and where on your body you'd like it.

COVID safety requirements

Although Lilith Tattoo has put stringent measures in place to reduce the risk of transmitting or contracting COVID-19, getting a tattoo is an unavoidably high-risk activity. I reserve the right to reschedule last minute if either of us is experiencing symptoms of COVID or another illness, and in most circumstances I am happy to transfer your deposit to a different date. When you fill out this form, you agree to be open and transparent with me about your vaccination status and regular exposure levels, and to abide by Lilith's COVID policies. I am currently requiring proof of vaccination; if you have a medical exemption you may select the "I need to discuss this with you further" option.
